at handler's front yard, eating the loser for dinner. that's rice on a banana leaf, and defeated chicken in the bowl. the winning rooster's owner gets to eat the defeated one. I won 700 pesos from my rooster's victory, and another 600 from side bets! And my rooster was injured, but should recover soon, to fight again. Which means I still own a fighting cock, I don't know if that's illegal.

Lar Shan, basically a huge smoky tent full of charcoal grills, and vendors screaming "BBQ, SIR! BBQ!!" at me.. the picture isn't nearly smoky enough to do the place justice. They have these spinning plastic bags on sticks attached to electric motors to keep flies away, not that a fly could really survive in all that smoke.

My favorite Japanese restaurant at Panagsama Beach, we ate there at least once a day.
Ivan suggested we eat breakfast at this fly infested eatery. The flies were so thick, I stood outside waiting for my food. We survived.

We stopped here for lunch, very friendly family, we had pancit, some veggies (w/ caterpillar for me), and a great conversation. Motorbike road trip, somewhere south of Kawasan Falls. Price of 2 lunches including drinks $1.20
Called a Carenderia, place where lunch is ready in pots, basically a home made buffet.

we stood for 3 hours, hanging on for dear life, as this bus wound through the mountains. Cost $1.25 total, and some gray hairs.
the Shamrock Pension house, basically the most jacked up roach infested windowless boarding house you can possibly think of. We slept there 2 nights. Cebu City.
